Our Hospital Comfort Essentials Pack is thoughtfully curated to enhance rest, comfort, and peace during a hospital stay. It contains a silky sleep mask, reusable earplugs, natural lip balm, soothing throat lozenges, a notepad and pen for jotting down important information, and a card with a get-well message and helpful tips for a smoother hospital experience.
This pack is ideal for anyone hospitalised for multiple or extended stays. Whether it's for a loved one or yourself, it's designed to offer practical relief and comfort during a challenging time.
Our products are selected to address common discomforts experienced in hospitals, such as noise, bright lights, and physical discomfort. The reusable earplugs and sleep mask promote restful sleep, which is vital for recovery. The lip balm and throat lozenges relieve dry air-related irritation and post-surgery discomfort. We've also included a handy notepad and pen for jotting down important details or questions for your healthcare team, helping reduce stress and provide a sense of control. Every item is chosen to make the hospital stay more manageable and comfortable.
The pack comes pre-curated with essential items based on common needs during hospital stays. However, work is underway to expand our product range, and we welcome your feedback!
We currently only offer the Hospital Comfort Essentials Pack. However, there are 3 care gift packs on its way! These will be available for pre-order soon. Launch date set for October.
Unlike traditional hospital gifts like flowers or chocolates, our packs are focused on providing practical comfort and relief. Every item is carefully chosen to help patients feel more comfortable, rested, and supported during their hospital stay or at home.
Simply order through our website, leave us a note of where to send the gift to and we'll take care of the rest. You can have your chosen gift shipped directly to hospital or your own address if you prefer to deliver it in person.
Leave us the short message you would like to include and sign off with your name(s). We offer a small complimentry card with each gift and will handwrite it for you before sending it off.
We take great care in curating and wrapping each gift box. If any items arrive damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll gladly arrange a replacement or refund.
If the recipient isn’t delighted, you’re welcome to return the package (with contents unused and in their original condition) for a full refund of the purchase price.
We care about the impact our gifts leave behind. While not every material can be eliminated from landfill, we’re always looking for ways to lessen our footprint.
We choose recyclable or reusable packaging wherever possible, and all of our cardboard — including lip balm tubes — can be recycled. Our premium silicone earplugs are designed to be washed and reused, helping reduce the need for disposable foam plugs.
The first imited batch of home care gift boxes will be released 20 October 2025. Join our mailing list to find out what's coming.
Shipping FAQ
Anwen & Kind delivers Australia-wide. Due to the time-sensitive nature of hospital stays and illness, we do not currently offer international shipping. However, if you’re located outside Australia, feel free to contact us, and we’ll assess the situation to see if we can arrange delivery on a case-by-case basis.
For standard shipping, please allow 2-4 business days.
For express shipping, allow 1-3 business days. We will dispatch your gift boxes within 24 hours of order. Please see the chart below for next-day delivery zones within Australia.
Please allow 2-4 business days for standard shipping, while express shipping typically takes 1-3 business days. Once the parcel reaches the hospital, an additional business day may be needed for internal distribution (especially for large public hospitals). Hospitals often have their own internal processes, so even if the tracking status shows 'delivered,' the parcel may still be in the hospital mailroom or a nearby post office awaiting final delivery.
We recommend checking your loved one’s estimated hospital stay before placing the order. In many cases, their stay may be shorter than anticipated.
Please note, if you place your order before 12 p.m. on a Friday, we will aim to send it out on the same day. However, as AusPost does not deliver over the weekend, the earliest delivery will be Monday. Once the parcel arrives at the hospital, internal distribution may take an additional business day.
Contact us and we will see if it's possible to arrange a courier for you at cost.
